Why light diya on 5th April?

Why are we lighting a lamp on 5th April 2020 at 9 pm? 

What should we light it with and why not use a mobile light?

Our Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi announced on the 3rd of April 2020, to light a lamp on 5th April 2020 at 9PM. Now, what is the astrological and numerological reasoning related to this entire event.

The announcement was made on the 3rd of April. So, according to my observation, number 3 denotes Jupiter, Jupiter manifests in the fire sign and so lighting of a fire is spoken about. Jupiter, which is also called Guru is a symbol of expansion, which, astrologically helps to spread information far and wide.

He announced it at 9AM. Number 9 represents Mars which is again an element of fire.

Now, why are we to light it on the 5th ? 5 represents Mercury which denotes clarity of prayers as Mercury is the sign of communication. Why 5th April? April is the 4 th month and 5+4 = 9, 9 is again Mars. We will light it at 9 pm for 9 mins as again 9 represents Mars. But why are we trying to work on Mars. That’s because Mars is the planet of will power and we so desperately need it now to fight this pandemic. Since fire is the symbol of purification and we will all collectively light the lamp, we together will fight the virus.

Astrologically speaking, if we plot the chart of 5 th April, we can see the chart is a Libra ascendant and the ascendant lord is in the 8th house, Venus, in the nakshatra of Kritika and the nakshatra lord is Sun. In this chart, the 8th house is the house of Taurus which is also ruled by Venus. So, why Venus as an ascendant has been considered? That’s because Venus represents comfort which is most required right now. The 8th house represents fear and Venus in the 8th house gives us comfort when free from fear. The 4th house represents mother and motherland. Since Mars is here, it helps us fight for motherland. Mars is also exalted over here, which gives it more strength to fight.

If we look at the chart again, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct in the 4th house, in the sign of Capricorn. Also, presence of Jupiter along with Saturn creates Neech Bhang Raj Yog. Our Honourable Prime Minister has selected the 13th Tithi, which is a Vijaya Tithi which is in Chaitra Paksh. At that time, Moon is in the Leo sign, Moon represents mann (Mind) and Leo is the sign of Sun. This will give our mind the strength and the whole event is going to be conducted at 9 pm. Which is during Sun Hora as per Indian Standard Time.

We should light a diya of Ghee or Mustard oil (Sarsaun ka tel). You may alternately, light a candle. You must it at your doorstep or balcony. Any medium of electronics should not be used as a light
that time as it represents Rahu and it’s Rahu that we are trying to curb. Here, as Rahu is the representation of the virus in astrology.

So, our Honourable PM is not only taking scientific steps by imposing the 21 days lock down which again adds to 2+1= 3 representing Jupiter, but also acting on astrological and spiritual mediums. This action clearly solidifies the belief that astrology can be depended on for reference and guidance as a predictive science.
